Born on August 3rd 1914 in Hertford, John Cazabon appeared in four fifty-minute Danger Man episodes, always playing shifty untrustworthy characters. He also appeared in two Prisoner episodes, playing the chemist/distiller Man in the Cave in 'Free for All' and then as the Umbrella Man in 'Once Upon A Time'.
Cazabon's acting career started in the Ealing Studio's 1949 film Eureka Stockade and continued in films including Curtain Up, Mandy and Quatermass II. He also made regular appearances on the small screen in series including Fabian of The Yard, Brothers In Law, Dixon of Dock Green, Danger Man and The Saint.
Cazabon died in 1983 aged 68. |
